Comparing the /var/log/message output between the two distro's reveal that they are using the same driver (for the Teensy itself anyway - not the USB bus). but it seems to use the same thing as by Bohdi Linux laptop and it runs fine there. Is there some strange incapability between the Pi and the Teensy? I am leaning toward a driver problem with whatever was supplied into this Wheezy build. If I plug in a standard USB keyboard along-side of it, I get normal keyboard functionality out of the standard keyboard. common device types are HID devices for mice, keyboard and more, printers, cameras, networking adapters and many more. If I press a key three times in a row, sometimes it comes out only once - or it may act as if I am holding the key down and repeat until another key is pressed. The Teensy board acts as a USB device (at least that would be the normal case) and for this it reports as being sort of a (often freely selectable) device type. But when plugged into my Pi, it goes nuts. However, when I updated to 2.8 this driver seems to have been removed. Some cable manufacturers cheap out and only put the wires necessary for charging, not data, in their cables. I opened the master switch all the way to the motherboard. Make absolutely sure you're not using just a charging cable. All power and functions pass thru the master.

Even if all the other individual windows are working but the corresponding switch in the master is broke, the window will not function.
#Teensy driver windows not working install
Only after I install the teensy serial driver from the teensy Homepage on my console, I can use the Box. The master control switch on the driver's side affects all window switches. Unfortunately EOS does not recognize my teensy - eos on my PC does recognize it. When connected to my Bohdi Linux laptop, it works as expected. This box uses a teensy 3.5 to send OSC via USB. When connected to a PC running Windows, it works as expected. I have mapped all the keys using a Teensy 2.0 USB device and some sample code. I am working on a project involving a very old keyboard (basically a matrix keypad). Id say its perhaps an incorrect library installed, Arduino IDE problem, compile path problem, something like that.
